Grand Marina Village is Celebrating the Grand Opening of its Model Homes

This weekend (April 24-25) marks the long-awaited introduction of Grand Marina Village by Warmington Residential California. Located on the island and set adjacent to Grand Marina at the estuary end of Grand Street, this waterfront community offers a rare opportunity to own a brand new home in Alameda.

The neighborhood presents a limited collection of just 40 residences. Two floorplans are offered, ranging in size from approximately 2,152 to 2,373 square feet with up to four bedrooms, three and one half baths and two-space garages. These three-story homes reflect charming Craftsman and Bungalow style architecture and are just steps from the water and all of the boat slips and related marine services of Grand Marina, presenting a remarkable lifestyle opportunity. Many will offer views of Oakland and Coast Guard Island.

Homes in Phase One will be available for reservation soon for buyers who have pre-qualified through the builder's preferred lender.  Prices in this phase begin from the upper-$600,000s.

"We are very happy to be offering homes at Grand Marina Village," said Debi Garlick, vice president of sales for Warmington. “We think that this is such a remarkable community and this location in particular is just spectacular. The chance to be so close to the water, the view-orientation of the neighborhood, and proximity to downtown Alameda shopping and restaurants are just some of the reasons that Grand Marina Village is very special.”

Other benefits to living within Grand Marina Village include the chance to enjoy a brand new, state-of-the-art home that includes many desirable appointments such as granite in the kitchens, stainless steel appliances, and many resource efficient features like tankless water heaters and an optional photovoltaic solar electricity system.

To celebrate the grand opening of the model homes, Warmington will host light refreshments both Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is extending an open invitation to all of its neighbors in Alameda to come buy for a tour and to learn more about this new neighborhood. As the community further celebrates “Opening Day on the Bay” on Sunday, attendees are being invited to drop by Sunday afternoon for refreshments and a model home tour and to find out how residents of Grand Marina Village can enjoy every day on the bay! The models and sales office will be open both days from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Warmington has a proud history of homebuilding in Alameda, having offered nearly 500 homes in the masterplanned community of Bayport Alameda. Warminton’s Northern California division office is located in San Ramon and has been building exceptional homes and communities throughout the Bay Area for 30 years. The first Warmington company began in 1926 as a custom homebuilder and today the Warmington group of companies enjoys a rich heritage of homebuilding excellence.
